The Tour Begins…

We start the tour at the historic Hudson Bay Building. Completed in 1922, this iconic building is now the home of the bustling Victoria Public Market. Here we will get a tour of the market that includes authentic South Indian cuisine or a traditional Italian dish. We then make our way to historic Chinatown where we visit the Chinese Public School and explore the vibrant culinary scene along colourful Fisgard Street.

The Tour Continues…

First up, Victoria Maiiz Nixtamal, where Chef Israel crafts mouthwatering tacos with his handmade tortillas—pure corn-based perfection. Next, roll into Pinhalla, a retro-cool pizza joint serving up seriously good slices, plus a free pinball game to keep things fun!

After weaving through the legendary Fan Tan Alley, Canada’s narrowest street, we indulge in Filipino-inspired delights at Friends & Family Bakery. Then, it’s off to Dumpling Drop, where crispy Thai-style dumplings—golden, crunchy, and bursting with flavor—steal the show. Next, it’s a stop at the iconic Green Cuisine to try some of their homemade Tempeh – a Victoria staple since 1990s!

To wrap up, we raise a glass at Whistle Buoy Brewing, one of Victoria’s best craft breweries, where you can sip on a locally brewed beer or a refreshing artisanal soda.
