The Tour Begins…

This 2.5-hour tour starts at Fisherman’s Wharf and ends on Government Street. We start the tour at Finest at Sea where we will try some amazing local seafood like candied salmon or smoked sablefish. This business has been operating since 1977 and has one of the largest fishing fleets in BC. We then head next door to Imagine Studio Cafe where we try some Bannock, a traditional First Nations dish of fried bread. We then head to Fisherman’s Wharf where we will sample one of Canada’s greatest inventions, the Hawaiian pizza! Learn more about the history of one of the world’s most divisive dishes.

The Tour Continues…

The tour continues with a leisurely stroll through the picturesque neighborhood of historic James Bay, making our way to the vibrant Inner Harbour. Along the way, you’ll pass some of Victoria’s most famous landmarks, including the charming Pendray Inn, the grand Legislature Building, the legendary Empress Hotel, and the scenic Waterfront Causeway, where you’ll take in stunning harbor views.

Our next stop is at the historic Steamship Terminal Building, where you’ll experience a unique maple syrup tasting and indulge in a classic Nanaimo Bar, Western Canada’s most famous dessert. Just next door at The Steamship Bar & Grill, we’ll raise a glass to Canada’s most iconic cocktail, The Caesar, while uncovering the fascinating story behind its invention. (A non-alcoholic version is available!)

We continue our culinary adventure at Beavertails, a Canadian favorite, where you’ll dig into a delicious serving of poutine—crispy fries topped with rich gravy and melty cheese curds. Finally, we end on a sweet note at Rogers’ Chocolates, Canada’s oldest chocolatier, where you’ll sample a trio of handcrafted chocolates, including a decadent maple cream.
