Step into the magic of the holidays with our Cozy Christmas Food Tour, a festive culinary adventure through downtown Victoria that celebrates the city’s sweetest season. Over the course of 2.5 hours, you’ll wander through twinkling streets and charming local shops, sampling delicious seasonal bites and treats that capture the warmth and spirit of a Victorian Christmas. From melt-in-your-mouth pastries to artisan chocolates, savory bites, and a decadent holiday drink, every stop offers something to savour and celebrate.
Your guide will lead you through some of Victoria’s most beautiful holiday scenes, from the sparkling Inner Harbour to cozy corners filled with the scent of cinnamon and cocoa. Along the way, you’ll visit a handpicked selection of local bakeries, chocolatiers, and specialty food shops—all proudly locally owned and filled with festive flair. You’ll also have time to take in some of the city’s best holiday displays and snap a few Instagram-worthy photos along the route.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advanced as the tours can sell out. To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. We do take some last minute bookings, please call us to see if we can squeeze you in!
Can I get a refund or reschedule my tickets?
We offer a full refund if tours are cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours. We unfortunately do not offer refunds for no-shows or cancellations made within the 24 hour period as your seat is being held on the tour.
Will there be a chance to do some shopping?
Yes! On this tour we visit 4 local shops that all include a small discount so we encourage our guests to use this opportunity to pick up some locally made products.
What is included in the ticket price?
- All food and beverage tastings (enough for a meal)

Are gratuities included in the price?
No. If you enjoyed your tour guide’s service, gratuities are greatly appreciated. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15-18%
How much food is served?
Our tours include enough different stops with an abundance of food along the way. You should consider the tour as a meal however our goal is not to leave you stuffed, but to give you a taste of the best culinary delights that Victoria has to offer.
Are there any beverages served?
On this tour we sample a hot drinking chocolate. There is a chance to add a glass of BC wine – it is not included in the cost but you can purchase at a discounted price!
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes. When completing the order form, you will be asked if you would like a vegetarian option. We must know in advance and unfortunately we cannot change preferences the day of the tour.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We are able to accommodate for some dietary restrictions however, due to the specific theme of the tour we are unable to accomodate a gluten or dairy allergy. We must know in advance and unfortunately we cannot change preferences on the day of the tour. Our tours are unsuitable for those with any severe food allergies.
Do we only walk around and sample food?
Definitely not! Our tours combine dinning with sightseeing. The tour guides will provide commentary throughout the tours regarding history, cultural landmarks, insider culinary tips, exciting shopping opportunities and more. Consider our tours a smorgasbord of eating, learning, meeting locals, and a way to discover hidden gems in the city.
How physically fit do I need to be to attend a tour?
The tours require a certain level of physical stamina. Some tastings are on the go and seating opportunities can be limited and sporadic. There is an approximation of the distance covered in the details section of each tour.
What happens if it rains, snows, or the weather is not good?
Living on the West coast can be beautiful but wet. Our tours run regardless of the weather. Please dress appropriately and know that the weather can change throughout the day. Please bring an umbrella if necessary.
Are tours offered only in English?
Currently our tours only operate in English however we are working on hiring multi-lingual guides. Please email info@offtheeeatentracktours.ca if you are interested in booking a tour in another language and we will do our best to accommodate.
