Going for brunch is a Vancouver tradition and the growing East Village neighbourhood is renown for having the best brunch cuisine in the city. This tasty and fun 3 hour tour will feature all the best brunch dishes and of course Caesars! Join us on Saturday mornings (and skip the line-ups) to learn about the history of the neighbourhood, meet the locals who make this area thrive, and get your day going with a delicious progressive brunch.
We start the tour at Bianca Maria, a family owned Italian deli where we will sip on an espresso and homemade biscotti. Then, we sample a mind-blowing Caesar cocktail and a not-so-traditional eggs benny from the very eclectic Jackalope’s Neighbourhood Dive. Nothing says brunch like a boozy drink! Then we head to the local butcher shop for a delightful sausage tasting. They make all of their sausages in house and use only the best local and free range products. Then it’s on to Black Rook Bakehouse for a wonderful breakfast quiche. This bakery owned by two lovely ladies who make everything from scratch! A great place to pick up some sweets for later or buy a fresh loaf of bread. We finish the tour at Vancouver’s smallest tea shop for a unique tea tasting. Here we learn about single origin and estate teas from around the world.
